According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, workers of Hispanic descent represent 30% of the jobs in the construction industry, and our state of North Carolina has one of the fastest-growing Hispanic populations in the entire country. Given these statistics, we must ensure we connect with Hispanic professionals in our communities, including sharing the benefits of buying Cat!
That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) for the 2024 and 2025 calendar years. The HCAC was created to provide solutions and encouragement for Hispanic contractors looking to grow in the profession. With this partnership, Carolina Cat will be able to establish solid business relationships with HCAC members through sponsorship of special events, communications, and special pricing on equipment.
We’re looking forward to the following HCAC events this 2024-2025 season:
- “Technology in the Field” Event: Carolina Cat will host a lunch and learn on July 23rd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in partnership with SITECH Horizon. HCAC members will get an in-depth look at the latest construction technology and how it can improve their business.
- HCAC Gala and Brilliance Awards: Carolina Cat is a sponsor of the HCAC’s yearly awards ceremony, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the Hispanic contracting community in the Carolinas.
- HCAC Education Programs: The HCAC Construction Management Program is a 24-hour program presented in nine sessions. This program aims to teach Hispanic contractors key principles for doing business at a professional level with general contractors.
- Lunch and Learn Sessions: Carolina Cat will host lunch and learn sessions for HCAC members to promote membership benefits and our brand.
