Fast Track Program

The Fast Track program is a comprehensive, four-month program designed to help candidates interested in becoming a Caterpillar Technician. You’ll boost your technical skills and confidence through both classroom-style and hands-on training. At the end, you’ll become eligible for placement as a Level 1 Technician upon successful completion of the program. Caterpillar Dealer Academy

This cooperative college-level student education program trains technicians to provide services that align with our unrivaled reputation at Carolina Cat. Together with Florence-Darlington Technical College and other Cat® dealers, the Caterpillar Dealer Academy strives to provide students with all the information they need to succeed, resulting in an associate degree in Applied Science.

CPCC Service Technician Program

We've partnered with Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) to provide our technicians with in-depth classes on properly inspecting, repairing, servicing, and maintaining heavy-duty machinery. The Heavy Equipment Transport Technology (HEATT) program at CPCC is one of the best educational programs in the area, with certifications from the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation.

We Are a SkillBridge Partner for Military Candidates

Carolina Cat is a proud partner organization of the Department of Defense's (DOD) SkillBridge program. Military candidates that qualify may enroll in one of Carolina Cat’s Training Programs during the last 6 months of military employment and still receive wages and benefits.
