Operator Training for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms

Mobile Elevated Work Platform Operator’s Training is a full day class with classroom instruction that includes discussion of ANSI regulations, as well as boom and scissor lift operation requirements. You will be emailed scanned copies of the training roster, completed tests, certificates of course completion, and participant evaluations upon payment.

This class will meet the new OSHA/ANSI 92 requirement, which includes changes or additions to the items below.

• Perform a site risk assessment
• Proper selection of suitable MEWP
• Support surface adequate to support the weight of the MEWP
• All maintenance requirements and repairs per Manufacturer
• Only trained and authorized Operators permitted to operate the MEWP
• Ensure Familiarization of qualified operators for the specific MEWP
• Ensure Operators understand site requirements and hazards
• Train supervisors who monitor MEWP operators performance
• Prevent unauthorized use of the MEWP
• Ensure the safety of all personnel in the area
• Maintain all documentation (maintenance and training)

NOTE: An item to highlight is the new requirement that managers who supervise operators of MEWPs must also be trained.
