New After-Hours Service Adds Convenience for Owner-Operators

Posted on: September 25, 2024

As a trusted partner to businesses large and small, our service team at Carolina Cat is excited to offer extended operating hours for customers needing compact equipment service in the Charlotte area. Customers can now drop off and pick up light or compact construction equipment until 12:00 am Monday through Thursday at our Charlotte Main shop located at 9000 Statesville Rd. in Building 2.

The Compact Equipment Service shop specializes in repairing and performing preventive maintenance on Cat® mini-excavators, skid steers, compact track loaders, and other light construction equipment.

Carolina Cat technicians can perform various repairs and maintenance services after hours, from track replacements to filters and fluids on Cat skid steers, compact track loaders, and more.

Thanks to extended hours, owner-operators in the Charlotte area can avoid costly downtime while maintaining their fleet.

Geoff Blair, Director of Specialized Services at Carolina Cat, explains why this offering is such a game-changer for small businesses:

Many of our owner-operator customers rely on Cat equipment each day—but they often don’t have time to schedule repairs and maintenance during normal business hours. This after-hours option will make service a lot more convenient for customers in landscaping, construction, and other sectors. The feedback has been great so far.

Customers may now drop off Cat equipment for routine maintenance services after 5 p.m. for pick up the next day*. Many quick-turn services can also typically be performed during the night shift for next-day pickup. For repairs that take longer than 24 hours like engine rebuilds, customers can still drop off and pick up equipment after hours.

Visit Carolina Cat’s Service After-Hours page for more information and FAQs, or call (980) 368-5250 to schedule service or for general questions.

*Next-day pick-up is not guaranteed and is available for maintenance services and quick-turn repairs only. Some restrictions may apply depending on the scope of work or machine status. Have questions? Please contact the shop before bringing in equipment.
